Who's the Scribe?

How exactly does Summit determine the scribe? Unless if you explicitly add the scribe role to an attendee, Summit will assume that the facilitator and the person running the Summit app is the scribe. If you want the scribe to be someone else, simply assign this role when adding attendees.

Imagine the thousands of stories that have been told throughout time and think about if none of them had ever been written down. The world would have a great loss and over time it might be difficult to piece them together back in their original form.

The notes for a meeting are similar. The scribe's purpose is to ensure a proper written recording of the important aspects of the meeting. This can be useful for folks who weren't able to attend the meeting, but they can be just as valuable for an attendee who may have missed something along the way.
