Songs from Summit 1.0

This is the blog post that almost never was. It's been bubbling around in my mind for what seems like near half a year now. But to explain it further, I should probably give you some backstory.

I've always been enamored by developers that show their humanity and what makes them tick. I appreciate folks who reveal a bit of themselves and the ingredients used to craft great products. Sometimes this is through easter eggs, blog posts about the process or in the case with BBEdit, its gem of an about box...

Ever since I can remember, they've always had interesting links to their pets, songs and bands that inspire them and tidbits about the people involved.

As you can probably already tell, there's just a tiny leap needed for my mind to jump to what I could do to add a bit of color to my own releases. As I'm a solo developer and always have some kind of music playing while I'm coding, I was thinking that it might be nice to create a list of the music that fueled development and helped to provide inspiration along the way. This of course is a bit quirky and different, but as I'm not BigCo. Inc., I'm going to do it anyway as there's no one around to say I can't. 😉 So although tardy, here are the songs and music that helped make Summit 1.0 what it is.
